Welcome to Calvary Music School

Serving southeastern Connecticut and western Rhode Island.

Whether you’re new to this site or returning to visit us again, allow me to say, “Welcome! We’re happy you’re here!” Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is now open, and we’re confident you’ll find the music lessons you’re looking for.

Whatever your age or level of experience, Calvary Music School offers you the opportunity to improve your playing or singing skills, learn a new instrument, or simply learn more about music.  Our goal is to offer a first-rate musical education for all; nurturing individuals and the community through professional instruction and inspiring music as an outreach program of Calvary Church.

Our experienced faculty hold degrees from music schools and conservatories across the United States and abroad, including: Bremen University, Cleveland Institute of Music, Hartt School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, McGill University, New England Conservatory, Oberlin Conservatory, and the Yale School of Music. Many have performed across the United States and internationally. In addition to teaching, you can enjoy our faculty performing locally in variety of classical, jazz and pop musical ensembles including the United States Coast Guard Band and the New Haven and Eastern Connecticut Symphonies.
